Cafe Esspress in Bamberg

Very friendly and attentive service. Quite "colorful" menu, but still good food.

Very nice little cafe / restaurant with a great back yard. The food is delicious and we highly recommend breakfast, which is served until the afternoon.

Just a great place to eat relaxed. Food is really "cheap" in terms of price, so € 6.90 for a wrap that is really tasty is absolutely good. Food was always delicious. The waitresses are unfortunately not the best but they were friendly and this is OK. Price / performance is simply great here

Unfortunately, it has broken down in the last few years. Unfortunately, everything was a bit expensive in terms of price and my last Long Island Ice Tea tasted nothing to do with it for € 8.5. Tasted like lemon juice, nothing more ...

Delicious breakfast in the heart of Bamberg. Rich and fresh.

Large eggshell and dead mosquito in the scrambled eggs - the waitress nodded and took the leftovers with them, no replacement! Space was simply cleared while you were on the toilet (drinks and personal items gone, not paid for). Unfortunately, very disappointing

Worst service in the whole city! The kitchen and counter are always good, but either the service staff is brutally overwhelmed or the shifts are incredibly understaffed. After we had to wait three quarters of an hour before we could order drinks (!!), we had to wait an entire hour for the bill. Absolute cheek.

The food was good and ready quickly. The service is not particularly friendly and very inattentive. The assistants worked quickly.

Again and again in terms of price and taste. The beer garden is nice and shady and the audience is relatively young. So the drinks and the food are pretty modern too, I like it very much. I would love to come back to Café Esspress.

Absolute zero service. You are either not served at all or only after a very long time. Even after we called the café while we were sitting outside and asked if you were being served (wait 20 minutes), nobody came out (although we were assured that the colleague would be there soon). If you are lucky you can be served here, but in my experience you tend to sit sore.

Great brunch and service. Please clean the gutters in the beer garden. My almost empty plate filled as if by magic. 😆

Cosy place to have a nice breakfast

The Café Esspress is the ideal place to end the cozy summer evening with your friends. ☀️ The great atmosphere and the small "beer garden" in the middle of Bamberg are great. The staff are all nice and the food comes very quickly. Especially for students, the restaurant offers fair prices for really tasty burgers and side dishes. 🍔 The complementary cocktails in all their variations are also a highlight. 🍹😋 The restaurant can only be recommended for everyone and I look forward to finishing the evening there again next time. 😊

Breakfast is actually always great and very rich. In the evening fluctuating but the cocktails are of a very high quality. The beer selection and the prices for this are rather not that great. The service is very professional anyway.

We were looking for a place with a breakfast and we were definitely not disappointed at all. We had News week and Figaro breakfast and both came with freshly squeezed fruit juice,so was definitely worth it. Would highly recommend if you find yourself in the city. And price was below 20 euros for both.

Food was very tasty, also the drinks. They have a garden where you can eat and inside tables. The toilets are clean. Comfy, lovely place. I recomand! I put some pictures of pur food.

Cheap and cozy restaurant. Recommended shop where relatives live in this town and always do lunch and brunch here. Visit with a dog ♥ There are smoked beers specializing in this town, and the food is multinational. Chicken wrap and vegan wrap were delicious. When I ordered a limited edition friday steak, a beef-and-chicken onion steak came But 13 euros cheap! Service is good and is recommended 😊

The food was really good but i had a big problem with the service. We were here with a big group of people (one would notice us, you know). We ordered our drinks and it was already a bit messy but then we waited for good 30 minutes until the waitress would come and order our food. When we finally got our food, there was a mistake that the waitress made in an order. Overall the food was good but the service kinda ruined the experience for us

The Café is very nice. Plenty of indoor space and some outdoor space as well. Our server was perfect! Didn't hover, but didn't ignore us either in spite of being the only people outside. The noise level inside can make conversations difficult but not impossible. Prices are decent and portions are good. They also have specials every day of the week.

Loooooved visiting my home town with my boyfriend. We ate here at least 3 times while on vacation lol

Nice place for lunch in downtown Bamberg. The waitresses didn't smile much but where attentive enough to keep it at 4 stars...the prices are fair and the food is good with the wrap being the best out of the 2 things we ordered.

Great breakfast. Staff are great and usually speak good English

They served cold coffee. We finished the coffee and the strudel did not arrive. The waitress did not clean the table when we arrived and did not provide napkins. I do not recommend.
